About Justice Reform Initiative
Justice Reform Initiative is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals and families impacted by the criminal justice system. We focus on second chances by providing accessible education, resource navigation, and reentry support—without offering legal advice. Our team connects people with trusted attorneys, expungement services, and community partners to help them make informed decisions and rebuild their lives. We host free expungement clinics to assist eligible individuals in clearing their records and overcoming barriers to employment, housing, and opportunity. Justice Reform Initiative is also an approved pro bono agency authorized to administer CLE credits to Louisiana attorneys who volunteer with our clinics. Through outreach, collaboration, and advocacy, we work to promote fairness, equity, and long-term community resilience.
